In this christening invitation the illustration of a little child-like robot was developed into a small souvenir-toy that glows in the dark. The robot’s design was based on references of vintage tin and cardboard box self-made toys in an attempt to bridge the different ages of parents and children into one design. The invitation is an object that can be used as a toy by the younger guests but may also invoke some nostalgia on the grownups, while fulfilling its informative purpose.
